Hydro 4 U - Fitness in a heated pool!
I'm Lynsey - the Founder/Owner of Hydro4U C.I.C. I started due to my own personal experiences! I qualified as a Fitness Instructor in 2018, I also played football for Sunderland Ladies.
Coming up to 2 years ago I had Hydrotherapy following hip surgery and a Fibromyalgia diagnosis. I found working out in warm water hugely beneficial. At the end of my '6th' session I was told to source further sessions myself, this proved difficult with not many heated pools in our area with a fitness instructor, there were a lot of hurdles including cost, distance, availability and temperature.

That's when I came across Hebburn Day Centre. On 2nd Feb I started the business and quickly became a Community Interest Company, on the 9th Feb I opened up my doors for my first session, since then 900+ sessions have been booked and 80+ clients that have entered the #THEPOSITIVITYPOOL

In the few weeks since starting I have been so lucky to have met so many inspirational people who are wanting to fight injury and illness as well as people wanting to get back into fitness or remain fit and active as long as possible. The feedback i get on a daily basis makes my heart warm that I have created a safe space for people to come and achieve their goals.
